Está escrito na Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos que todo o Homem tem direito à vida, à liberdade e à sua segurança pessoal. Infelizmente, em pleno século XXI, isto ainda não acontece. A Violência no Namoro ainda é um tema bastante presente entre os nossos jovens e continuamos sem lhe dar a atenção devida.
Este trabalho de projeto é apenas uma de algumas das soluções que podem ser desenvolvidas para que, não só os jovens saibam que existem e é um problema, como para as pessoas à sua volta – professores, pais – saibam como identifica-lo, falar sobre ele e atuar perante situações onde aconteça.
Partindo de uma análise ao Terceiro Setor e à maneira como este funciona em Portugal, e analisando a maneira como a Comunicação neste setor se processa, procurou-se com este trabalho saber um pouco mais acerca das organizações não governamentais que se dedicam a este tema, como comunicam com os seus públicos e qual o trabalho que têm desenvolvido. Existiram ainda entrevistas exploratórias para perceber qual o grau de conhecimento do público relativamente à temática mas, sobretudo, quais as suas perceções relativamente à mesma.
Só após esta pesquisa se partiu para a realização do projeto em si, uma conferência totalmente dedicada ao tema, com diversos oradores, e pensada totalmente para o público jovem, o nosso público alvo.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that every Man has the right to life, freedom and his security. Unfortunately, in the midst of the 21st century, this still is yet to be reality. Dating Violence is still a very common theme among our teenagers and we still don't give it the attention that it is due. This project proposes one of many solutions that can be developed so that not only young people become aware it exists, and that it is a problem, but for those around them - teachers, parents - know how to identify it, talk about it and act in situations where it happens. Beginning from an analysis of the Third Sector and the way it functions in Portugal, and analysing the way Communication is processed in this sector, this work sought to find more about the non-governmental organizations dedicated to this topic, how they communicate with their audiences and what work they have done. There were also exploratory interviews to understand how much the public knows about the subject but, above all, their perceptions about it. Only after this research, it was possible to go further and develop the project itself - a conference entirely dedicated to the topic, with several key speakers, designed in its integrity for the younger public, our target audience.
