- A 1.2 V low noise amplifier with double feedback for high gain and low noise figurePublication . Amoêdo, David Jorge Tiago; Oliveira, LuísIn this thesis we present a balun low noise amplifier (LNA) in which the gain is boosted using a double feedback structure. The circuit is based in a Balun LNA with noise and distortion cancellation. The LNA is based in two basic stages: common-gate (CG) and common-source (CS). We propose to replace the resistors by active loads, which have two inputs that will be used to provide the feedback (in the CG and CS stages). This proposed methodology will boost the gain and reduce the NF (Noise Figure). Simulation results, with a 130 nm CMOS technology, show that the gain is 19.65 dB and the NF is less than 2.17 dB. The total power dissipation is only 5 mW (since no extra blocks are required), leading to an FOM (Figure of Merit) of 3.13 mW-1 from a nominal 1.2 supply.

Considering street football’s history and its recent decline, the study intends to identify the added value of this strand of the sport, characterize its particularities, and verify its importance to players’ development. In addition, it focuses on understanding how the change in children’s habits may affect the retention rate of participants and how the diminishing of street football will impact the future game’s quality.
- 140 Mil Memórias - um projecto artístico ao encontro da comunidadePublication . Alvelos, Vera Maria Quintela de Campos; Madeira, CláudiaEste trabalho assenta numa análise e reflexão sobre os processos de criação artística do projecto 140 Mil Memórias, que aconteceu de Fevereiro a Maio de 2018 em Santa Maria da Feira, sendo apresentado nesse último mês no Festival Imaginarius. Tendo sido um projecto multidisciplinar, esta análise incide sobretudo nas duas performances teatrais que daí sugiram, criadas em estreita colaboração com membros da comunidade: “31 Maneiras de Comer uma Fogaça” e “Roda de Memórias”. Sob a alçada das relações entre arte e comunidade, este trabalho foca-se nos processos de participação artística comunitária e na programação cultural que os incentiva e possibilita. Questões como a comunidade em relação com o local e o global, a multiplicidade de sentidos, a dimensão política da participação, a relação com o outro e com o real, o hibridismo das propostas e a proximidade à performance, bem como a relação com o público, são equacionadas como enquadramento teórico, tendo como base a ideia da participação e a arte orientada para o social. A programação no espaço público, enquanto heterogéneo e potenciador de relações na figura de festivais culturais são analisados, afunilando a reflexão para o caso do Imaginarius e a programação cultural de Santa Maria da Feira. Por fim, como caso de estudo, são abordados os métodos de criação dos dois espectáculos referidos, explorando-se toda a relação dramatúrgica e teatral que se estabeleceu com membros da comunidade, num processo participativo imersivo. Neste processo tem-se em conta a dimensão cultural da dramaturgia, realizada a partir das memórias recolhidas, a sua relação com símbolos culturais locais, a ideia de representação do real e a dupla existência dos intérpretes, enquanto actores e membros da comunidade. A teatralidade de cada espectáculo é analisada segundo as técnicas desenvolvidas e segundo a relação estabelecida com as especificidades locais, constatando-se a interpenetração das várias instâncias, numa influência mútua. As dimensões individual, colectiva e ritualística são igualmente colocada em evidência, bem como os vários tempos do processo criativo, passado presente e futuro. As contribuições teóricas das áreas do teatro, performance, filosofia, crítica de arte, sociologia, antropologia e literatura, possibilitam uma análise alargada do encontro entre práticas artísticas e comunidade, numa acção que não é exclusivamente artística ou social, mas que se apresenta em relação.

Barradas, Gonçalo Duarte; Painho, Marco Octávio TrindadeThe 15-minute city is a concept that revolutionized neighborhoods, changed everyday life, and brought the neighborhood back to the population. The creator of it, Carlos Moreno, showed in Paris how this can be achieved. In this dissertation, the object of study is Évora where I intend to understand accessibility at different times and find deficits in accessibility, different points of interest will be used that were obtained through surveys carried out in situ to understand what they are looking for in the choice of housing. In the case of surveys, the results show that many people understand the distances to the services they are interested in, but still prefer to continue using cars in their daily lives. The points of interest were commerce, health and education, each of which had subthemes such as hospital emergencies and health centers, in the case of health. The results showed above all that the most affected point of interest is health, especially when it comes to access to emergency services, in this regard, Canaviais presents a total deficit in access for pedestrians over 65 years.
- 1794: como compositores polifacetados e cantoras virtuosas fizeram de um antigo Mosteiro um grande centro de produção musicalPublication . Caldas, Maria Luiza Garcia; Brescia, Rosana de Moraes Marreco OrsiniO Real Mosteiro de São Bento da Avé-Maria do Porto foi o mais importante cenóbio feminino da cidade invicta durante o seu tempo de existência, do século XVI ao século XIX. Como era de se esperar de uma instituição feminina de clausura desse porte, a música desempenhava importante papel no cotidiano das monjas. Após a extinção do Mosteiro, o edifício foi demolido para dar lugar à atual Estação Ferroviária de São Bento, e seus manuscritos musicais foram transferidos para a seção de Música da Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. Dentro do espólio do antigo Mosteiro, há uma grande quantidade de obras de finais do século XVIII e início do século XIX. Essas obras atestam um elevado nível técnico musical, com um considerável grau de virtuosismo, sobretudo vocal. Têm, ainda, a particularidade de serem obras comissionadas pelas próprias monjas, com seus nomes em dedicatórias e partes cavas. Um estudo sistemático dessas obras nos mostrou características particularmente interessantes no repertório comissionado para o ano de 1794, cuja quase totalidade das obras foi encomendada pela Mestra da Capela daquela altura, D. Anna Felícia. Além disso, a maior parte dessas obras é dedicada a alguma festividade específica, com especial ênfase para o Natal. A presente dissertação propõe o estudo do repertório composto para o Mosteiro de São Bento da Avé-Maria no ano de 1794, com especial atenção para as festividades do Natal. Também propomos o estudo das agentes que comissionaram e interpretaram esse repertório, as senhoras musicistas da Avé-Maria, considerando o papel dessas mulheres no contexto do Porto e de Portugal no final do Antigo Regime.
