O presente relatório tem como objetivo descrever as atividades desenvolvidas pela discente na Eurologos-Lisboa, empresa de tradução em que o principal volume de trabalho recai em Tradução Técnica e Jurídica. Pretende-se, primeiramente, efetuar uma descrição da instituição de acolhimento, seguida de uma contextualização teórica de Tradução Técnica. É aprofundada, seguidamente, a componente prática, com uma descrição do estágio. Recorre-se a exemplificações de alguns dos projetos levados a cabo, ilustrando também a forma como são colocados em prática os conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos na componente letiva do Mestrado. Por fim, é feito um balanço das atividades desenvolvidas, na perspetiva da estagiária, bem como uma reflexão sobre esta sua primeira experiência profissional.
The aim of the following report is to describe the activities carried out by the intern at Eurologos-Lisboa, a translation company whose main workload is on Technical and Legal Translation. First, a description of the host institution is presented, followed by a theoretical contextualization of Technical Translation. Then, the practical component is analyzed in-depth through an outline of the internship. In order to illustrate the way knowledge acquired from the theoretical part of the Master's Degree is put into practice, there will be examples to demonstrate the projects carried out at the translation company. In conclusion, a balance of the activities developed is made from the trainee's perspective, as well as a comment on this first professional experience.
