Final master's project delivered by the student Brunna Lopes (51026), under the guidance of Professor Ana Maria Martinho. The following work addresses common classroom themes, teaching difficulties, the European immigration framework and some thoughts from educators such as Paulo Freire, Fernando Savater. We will consider the topic of classroom literature and how it can be a good support in language teaching. We will briefly study works from world literature such as The Little Prince, Wimpy Kid and works by William Shakespeare, in order to show how literature can play a transformative role in teaching.
