No trabalho de projecto CORPO SANTO – um ritual em palco, proponho produzir um deslocamento que questione a dança contemporânea teatral num contexto social, podendo assim construir um pensamento próprio sobre a performance ritual. Crio uma peça coreográfica intitulada CORPO SANTO que percorre uma linha dramatúrgica que vai do corpóreo para o etéreo. Defendo, neste trabalho, que as acções rituais são mais que um simples veículo para o pensamento. Elas constituem-se como um modo de pensar, em si.
In the project CORPO SANTO - a ritual on stage, I propose to produce a displacement that questions contemporary theatrical dance in a social context, so as to build a thought about ritual performance. I create a choreographic piece called the CORPO SANTO that runs through a dramaturgical line that goes from the corporeal to the ethereal. I argue in this work that ritual actions are more than a mere vehicle for thought. They form as a way of thinking, in itself.
