During the internship at the Teatro da Garagem company, I partook in their commemorative project Teatro Twitter as an actress, this was the focus of this internship. The tea ceremony and Japanese culture were the basis for my acting’s concept within the show. In this report, I intend to delve deep into how important this ritual was and how much it contributed to the play itself. It is also my purpose to reflect upon the following questions: - How was my presence relevant towards the goal of project Teatro Twitter in terms of dramaturgy and its performance? - How do the Japanese and Western cultures corelate in Teatro Twitter? What is Teatro Twitter? What is the tea ceremony? In order to reflect upon these topics and answer the proposed questions, I will describe my internship experience such as the rehearsals and other situations that took place in the course of the shows, among others. Together with a description about my participation in the other two projects Caixa dos Segredos and Finge, I also intend to describe how valuable this internship was to my performing arts career.
