Este relatório pretende reflectir sobre o trabalho de estágio no Museu Municipal Leonel Trindade. Elabora-se a uma caracterização da instituição, incluindo um enquadramento histórico, a sua programação - vocação, missão e objectivos, tutela do Museu, gestão museológica e breve caracterização do seu acervo. Pretende-se elaborar uma reflexão sobre a área funcional da comunicação, analisando a comunicação expositiva e a mediação de património através do MMLT, abordando também questões como os públicos e o serviço educativo
This report intends to make a reflection about an internship at Museu Municipal Leonel Trindade. A characterization of the institution is made, including its historical background, its programming - vocation, mission and objectives, the museum trusteeship and management and also a brief description of its collection. It aims to develop a reflection about the functional area of communication, making an analysis to the exhibition communication and to the mediation of heritage made by MMLT, making also an approach to the public and the educational service.
