O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal refletir sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem do léxico nas aulas de língua materna e de língua estrangeira, em particular sobre a eficácia das metodologias e atividades para o ensino de português e de espanhol. Apresentamos, num primeiro momento, considerações sobre o uso do vocabulário em níveis de iniciação (na LE) e do aprofundamento das estruturas vocabulares (na LM), abordando várias questões da comunicação oral e escrita, tais como as dificuldades, a motivação e as estratégias implementadas para o seu desenvolvimento. Tendo em conta as especificidades de cada uma das línguas, e as caraterísticas dos seus utilizadores, exploramos algumas hipóteses de trabalho em contexto escolar que, num segundo momento, serão apoiadas pela observação e lecionação de aulas no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada.
This work aims to reflect on the teaching and learning of lexicon both in mother tongue and foreign language classes, namely on the effectiveness of methodologies and activities for Portuguese and Spanish teaching. Firstly, it will be considered the use in levels of initiation vocabulary (LE) and further vocabulary structures (LM), addressing various issues in terms of oral and written communication, such as the difficulties, motivation and implementation of strategies related to vocabulary development. Secondly, taking into account the specificities of each language and the characteristics of its users, some working hypotheses will be explored in a specific school context, which will be supported by the observation and the teaching of classes within the Supervised Teaching Practice.
