O presente relatório, baseado no estágio curricular realizado na empresa de serviços
linguísticos Upwords, pretende descrever o processo das diferentes tarefas
desempenhadas, identificar as principais competências que melhor caracterizam
tradutores profissionais e analisar as particularidades e o estilo da prática de tradução
técnica. Adicionalmente, o presente relatório aborda a noção de ativos digitais e destaca
vários exemplos de projetos realizados a propósito de conteúdos de plataformas de
transações relacionados com criptoativos. Por fim, procura-se refletir sobre a
experiência profissional vivida e a área da tradução técnica, destacando ainda o
potencial da tradução de conteúdos relacionados com ativos digitais.
This report, based on the curricular internship that took place at the linguistic services company Upwords, aims to describe the process of the various tasks that were performed, to identify the key skills that best define professional translators and analyse the specific features and style of technical translation practice. In addition, this report discusses the concept of digital assets and provides several examples of projects carried out involving investment platform contents related to crypto assets. Lastly, this report seeks to reflect on the professional experience gained and the field of technical translation, highlighting the potential of translating content related to digital assets.
