Resumo(s)
This work consists of three parts: case study, consultant report, and teaching notes as a
supplement to the case. As the global push for renewable energy increases, Skagerak Energi
faces challenges in scaling production while ensuring social acceptance. Social acceptance is
vital across socio-political, community, and market dimensions for the successful deployment
of renewable energy, yet it remains a significant barrier. This paper identifies strategies to
address knowledge gaps, build trust through strategic partnerships, and highlight economic
benefits, aiming to foster social acceptance for renewable energy projects.
