Four students collaborated on an Investment Committee Paper outlining a proposal for the
leveraged buyout of Simply Good Foods Company, a company specializing in nutritious and
convenient food options. The project features a well-crafted value creation plan and capital
structure, resulting in a projected Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 24% and a Money Multiple
of 4.5x over a seven-year period. The document also encompasses individual contributions,
covering areas such as market analysis and internationalization strategy, financial modeling,
valuation and returns, as well as an analysis of M&A landscape and its alignment with selected
exit strategy.
