This project outlines a strategic plan for IDA Editorial, the publishing division of the Delfim Amorim Institute (IDA) — a non-profit cultural organization being established in Recife, Brazil. The objective is to preserve and disseminate the works and ideas of the Luso-Brazilian architect Delfim Fernandes Amorim (Póvoa de Varzim, 1917 – Recife, 1972), as well as research on the broader field of the Modern Movement within the Lusophone world. While initially motivated by familial ties, IDA is also integrated into a significant international academic network. Considering these unique characteristics, the project conducts benchmarking of similar publishers to IDA Editorial, analyzes the Brazilian market in the relevant sector, and reviews various influential authors to propose the themes and formats for future publications. Additionally, it establishes guidelines for the composition and functioning of the editorial team, as well as the overall operation of the enterprise, including identifying potential funding sources in both Brazil and Portugal.
