internacionais.
Teaching and learning of the Holocaust has become an autonomous disciplinary field over the last two decades and the empirical research continues to grow. In addition to the academic research, carried out in universities and research centers around the world, there are several international organisations that seek to disseminate the topic and inform methodologies and approaches. Based on the current state of the art in the THL field, this report aims to explain and evaluate the educational project developed with a group of Portuguese students from the Santa Maria Highschool, in Sintra. Using active learning methods, we sought to promote knowledge about the Holocaust and develop skills and attitudes defined in national and international curricular documents.
