Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar a componente não letiva do Mestrado de Português Língua Segunda/ Estrangeira, em específico, a realização de um estágio curricular em ambiente escolar. Apresentarei os problemas encontrados no decorrer da atividade, assim como as estratégias encontradas para os contornar, sempre com o enquadramento teórico aprendido durante o Mestrado como guia. O estágio realizou-se no Agrupamento de Escolas de Santo André, no concelho de Santiago do Cacém, Setúbal e teve a duração de 420 horas. Foram acompanhadas uma turma de ensino regular de Português Língua Não Materna (PLNM) e duas turmas de regime pós-laboral de Português Língua de Acolhimento (PLA). Este estágio permitiu-me observar, planificar aulas e participar como docente, com o objetivo de ter experiência pedagógica num ambiente profissional. Assim como compreender a realidade de quem chega a Portugal e encontra uma cultura e língua diferentes das suas.
This paper summarizes the practical component necessary to achieve a master’s degree in Portuguese as a Second/Foreign Language and it summarizes the experience of an internship in a school setting. I will be presenting the problems encountered during this activity, as well as the strategies used to overcome them, always with the theoretical knowledge acquired during this master’s degree as a guide. This internship happened in the Agrupamento de Escolas de Santo André, in the county of Santiago do Cacém, district of Setúbal. It had a duration of 420 hours. I accompanied a regular class of Portuguese as a Non-Mother Language (PLNM) and two post labour classes of Portuguese as a Foster Language (PLA). This internship allowed me to observe, plan classes, and participate as a teacher to acquire the needed experience in a professional environment. As well as to understand the reality of those who arrive in Portugal and find a culture and language different to their own.
