This work projects extends the previous business project by investigating whether an immersive digital education platform offering applications to the B2C segment in Germany represents a sound decision for Siemens Healthineers and identifies elements of a suitable business model. Precisely, the business model was explored along value creation, value capture, and value delivery by following a qualitative approach yielding insights from 9 semi structured interviews with German medical students. This thesis concludes that the interviewed students are highly interested in such a platform if it creates superior value to learning outcomes, features a tiered pricing model, and implements physical marketing initiatives.
