Resumo(s)
The COVID-19 Pandemic created a disruption in higher education like never seen before.
While countries entered in lockdown, students and instructors had to suddenly adapt to online
instruction. Through an event study analysis, this is one of the first studies to measure the impact
of such disruption in a Portuguese institution – Nova SBE. We find significant evidence of
heterogeneity in the effect of the Pandemic between courses taken at Nova SBE and slight
evidence of differences between semesters.
