The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus has abruptly changed the teaching method applied in schools. The need to continue providing training to students in times of confinement has forced teachers and students to adapt to a new teaching format: distance learning. This type of teaching presupposes the existence of a physical separation between the teacher and the student, resorting to the use of technologies in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse what Distance Education consists in and how it can enhance the students' learning. Many of the methodologies used during this period, mainly in what concerns the use of TIC and its inclusion in the classrooms may and should be used later in face-to-face teaching. In this sense, we propose a Distance Education system based on the concept of the Flipped Classroom, in which in asynchronous moments the student will have access to the didátic materials, leaving synchronous moments for clarification of doubts, analysis of documents and correction of exercises assigned to the materials previously made available. As for the main platforms for sharing information with students (and taking into account the platform in use by the school where our Supervised Teaching Practice was conducted), we used the Moodle for asynchronous moments and Zoom for synchronous classes.
