The project focuses on the strategic assessment of the potential value for insurer sin cyber risk and the development of a comprehensive and successful value proposition for Ageas in this market. To fulfil theseobjectives,externalandinternalanalyseswereconducted,toidentifyopportunitiesandthreatsofthecyberinsurancemarketandAgeas’strengthsandchallengestoenterinit.Afterwards,profitabilityindicators(market size and claims ratio) were measured to understand the potential for Ageas in this market. The team proceeded by formulating hypotheses and testing them through industry experts' interviews, customer in depth interviews and surveys. The outcome of this project is a set of recommendations grounded on the five pillars of an efficient value proposition – target segments, product (coverage, type and structure), “go-to-market” plan, under writing solutions and a pricing concept – for B2 Band B2C.
