O presente relatório foi realizado a partir do estágio que teve lugar na empresa Empatia Arqueologia, Lda, no âmbito da componente não lectiva do Mestrado em Arqueologia. Tem como objectivo principal mostrar a organização espacial da Matinha de Queluz e importância que este espaço verde tem para a população desde o Séc. XVIII. Trata-se de um relatório feito a partir de uma só intervenção arqueológica de modo a ser possível passar por todas as etapas do trabalho arqueológico.
The present report was a result from an internship carried out in Empatia Arqueologia, Lda, as the second component of the Master in Archaeology of FCSH/NOVA. The primary objective was to show the lay-out of the Matinha de Queluz and the importance that these gardens had to the population since de 18th century. The report used the archaeological works and preparation, so it was possible to go through all the working stages.
