dc.description.abstractThe grocery retail industry is a dynamic industry with new players constantly entering the market with the goal to meet the ever-changing demands of consumers. This paper will explore the current state of the grocery retail industry and the operating business model variations within Europe. Considering major trends shaping the grocery retail industry and insights through interviews and literature, vertically integrated quick commerce business models are examined in-depth, and its strengths and vulnerabilities are identified. By addressing significant pain points, recommendations are derived that are intended to help vertically integrated quick commerce business models achieve improvement and market growth.pt_PT
