Este projeto de tese procura desvendar as perceções relativas à evolução e implementação da política pública na área da Violência Doméstica em Portugal. O reconhecimento e crítica social do fenómeno conduziram a um progressivo investimento do Estado Português no combate à Violência Doméstica.
Pretende fazer um enquadramento evolutivo das políticas públicas na sua relação com a criação e territorialização de respostas na área do atendimento e acolhimento a vítimas de violência doméstica. Objetivo transversal será sempre o de auscultar profissionais que trabalham na área do atendimento e acolhimento de vítimas de Violência Doméstica sobre as maiores evoluções e desafios da intervenção na área da Violência Doméstica.
This thesis aims to unveil perceptions regarding the evolution and implementation of public policy in the area of Domestic Violence in Portugal. The recognition and social criticism of the phenomenon led to a progressive investment of the Portuguese State in the fight against Domestic Violence. It intends to make an evolutionary framework of public policies, its relation with the creation and territorialization of responses in the area of care and shelter for victims of domestic violence as well as to listen to the professionals who work in the area of care and shelter of victims of Domestic Violence on which were the major evolutions and challenges of intervention in the area of Domestic Violence.
