Resumo(s)
This project looks at the airport handling reality in Portugal and how can the recently formed SATA Handling, the dominant company in the Azores, position itself to survive and thrive in the current deregulating and turbulent environment. A framework analysis will help understand industry dynamics and a study on the company’s core assets and capabilities, benchmarked against competitors, will help triage a correct positioning. The implementation of a corresponding Strategy Map will identify key goals and actions to build the adequate customer solution value proposition. An additional reflection on new trends and innovation paths in the conventional service performance characteristics will help raise awareness in the company about industry best practices and long term sustainability.
