Resumo(s)
This case study explores Modea, a mid-sized manufacturing company striving to reclaim its innovative advantage while confronting systemic challenges. Once an industry leader, Modea now faces an innovation lock caused by leadership misalignment, cultural resistance, and resource mismanagement. Consultant Isabel Fischer implements tailored strategies to address these barriers, fostering innovation and cultural change. However, her engagement reveals a critical dependency dilemma: Modea’s dependence on external expertise compromises its ability to innovate independently. This case challenges participants to analyze systemic barriers, evaluate consulting strategies, and explore the ethical and practical dimensions of transitioning organizations toward self-sustaining innovation.
