This project adresses staffing challenges in Portuguese restaurants by balancing the needs of both businesses and workers. Using Lean Startup and Customer Development methodologies, we focused on two propositions: FlexiStaff, addressing immediate, on-demand staffing for businesses, and QualiStaff, emphasizing worker training and long-term stability. FlexiStaff proved more relevant in the short term, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. This thesis documents the journey of two entrepreneurial students, driven to create impactful solutions and redefine workforce management in the hospitality industry.
