| dc.description.abstract | This study explores the transition from work to retirement, focusing on its impact on individual identity and the role of Human Resource Management in facilitating this shift. Using qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews with individuals aged 55–70, the research examines the interplay between different aggregate dimensions. Findings suggest that retirees navigate this transition through continued productivity, leisure, or community involvement. Additionally, the study highlights the need for tailored HRM strategies, such as phased retirement and identity-focused transition programs, to support retirees’ well-being and ensure a smooth transition from work to post-retirement life. | pt_PT |
