Resumo(s)

Nowadays, Human Health R&D companies are facing two major problems on the Drug Discovery and Development Process. First, it is very costly, estimated in 1.000M € per new drug. Second, it is very time-consuming, roughly a 15 years period. As a result of this perception, Bioalvo designed and developed a technology platform based on “in vivo” screening performed in humanized yeasts. This platform guarantees a reduction of costs and in time in the early stages of the process (66% and 50%, respectively). Considering its benefits, Bioalvo decided to transfer that technology to the market with its adaptation to a kit – the Viva Drug Discovery kit. Spain is one of the selected countries given that it is the UE country with higher growth in Biotechnology market (21.5% since 2000). The aim of this Marketing plan is to develop a successful launch of the kit in the Spanish market. For that, I recommend the incorporation of Bioalvo-Technology, a high quality and innovative Biotechnology Tool Company that targets Pharmaceutical and Biotech Companies with R&D units on the Oncology field.
