O propósito da presente dissertação de mestrado em Património é a análise e a
compreensão de como, no caso de Lisboa, o programa Lojas com História patrimonializa
e preserva o património identitário da cidade, sobretudo na sua zona histórica.
Considerando este projeto parte de uma estratégia da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa
para o desenvolvimento urbano, que visa a preservação e a valorização do património
histórico, cultural e identitário da cidade, assim como a reabilitação urbana da sua zona
histórica e a revitalização de seu comércio tradicional, vamos analisar o projeto e
descobrir quais os benefícios trazidos pelo programa para alcançar seu sucesso.
Para cumprir com tal investigação, desenvolvemos uma pesquisa de caráter
exploratório, apoiada em métodos interpretativos e explanatórios. A investigação
recorreu a suportes documentais para o desenvolvimento do programa e toda sua
legislação, assim como pesquisa bibliográfica em repositórios, bases de dados e em
jornais disponibilizados na internet com notícias sobre as lojas e o projeto Lojas com
História. Foram ainda ouvidos testemunhos de lojistas.
Após toda a investigação, concluímos que o Programa Lojas com História é um
marco na patrimonialização do comércio, numa tentativa de preservação do património
cultural e identitário de Lisboa, mas a sua atuação precisa ser ampliada e outras
iniciativas precisam ser efetuadas, para que as lojas apoiadas possam manter-se por
mais tempo e esta rede de patrimonialização seja bem-sucedida.
The aim of the Masters dissertation on patrimony is to analyze and comprehend how, in the case of Lisbon, the program, Lojas com Historia, patrimonializes and preserves the patrimonial identity of the city, especially in its historical area. Developing this project is part of a strategy of the Lisbon City Council for Urban Development, which aims to preserve and enhance the historical and cultural identity of the city, as well as the urban rehabilitation of its historic area and the revitalization of its traditional commerce. In this analysis, one will look at the project and find its benefits which continue to bring it success. To comply with this investigation, an exploratory character search has been developed and supported through interpretive and explanatory methods. The research resorted to documented support of the development of programs and their legislations, such as bibliographic research in repositories, databases, and newspapers made available on the internet and providing news about stores and the Lojas com Historia project. We continue to hear testimonials from shopkeepers. In concluding the investigation, we found that, in its attempt to preserve the heritage and cultural identity of Lisbon, the Lojas com Historia project is a milestone in the patrimonialization of commerce. However, its action needs to be expanded and other actions taken so that the supported stores can last longer and so that this patrimonialization network is successful.
