O presente trabalho constitui uma investigação acerca do papel dos jogos no
ensino da História. A implementação desta metodologia na Prática de Ensino
Supervisionada surge da necessidade de alteração de hábitos no ensino português, não
só pelos parcos resultados obtidos nos últimos anos, mas também face à necessidade de
implementação dos últimos documentos legais publicados pelo Ministério da Educação,
nomeadamente o Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória e as
Aprendizagens Essenciais.
Assim, pretende-se investigar se os jogos constituem, efetivamente, um meio
viável para a consolidação das aprendizagens e para o aumento da motivação dos
formandos.
This paper consists on a practical approach to the role of games in History teaching. Its implementation on my internship arose from the need to change habits in the Portuguese teaching system. Nowadays, we are facing poorish academic results and we need to implement the new legal measures promulgated by the Portuguese government. Consequently, it is my goal to investigate if, indeed, games are a fair way to consolidate learning and to motivate students.
