A escolha do tema para realização deste trabalho reside na necessidade de compreender o uso do press release na relação entre assessores e jornalistas, enquanto ferramenta de ligação entre ambas profissões. Para o efeito, será estudado o caso do Ministério da Comunicação Social de Angola, contribuindo assim para a investigação científica no campo da Comunicação Estratégica. Para elaboração da mesma usou-se a pesquisa qualitativa – descritiva. A metodologia de investigação foi a qualitativa assente no estudo de caso, no qual os assuntos do tema foram abordados por meio de entrevistas e análise documental. A análise feita aos dados recolhidos, permitiu a obtenção de uma resposta a questão colocada pelo estudo que, procurou saber como eram noticiados os comunicados de imprensa daquele Ministério pelos jornalistas angolanos, evidenciando a necessidade da ocorrência de formação para que haja uma maior e melhor interação entre assessores e jornalistas, por meio do uso de press releases, encontrando-se em conciliação com os elementos retirados da revisão à literatura consultada. Os resultados alcançados na entrevista divergem, com os resultados dos documentos analisados, mas, apoiam as hipóteses formuladas sobre a aceitação dos press releases pelos jornalistas e sobre a sua influência no exercício da atividade de assessoria de imprensa no Ministério da Comunicação Social de Angola. Concluiu- se que, os comunicados de imprensa, do Ministério da Comunicação Social de Angola, têm aceitação positiva por parte dos jornalistas dos órgãos públicos de comunicação, contribuindo desta feita, para identificação da escrita usada para elaboração dos documentos do Ministério da Comunicação Social de Angola.
The choice of the theme for this work lies in the need to understand the use of press release in the relationship between advisors and journalists, as a liaison tool between both professions. To this end, the case of the Angolan Ministry of Social Communication will be studied, thus contributing to scientific research in the field of Strategic Communication. For its elaboration, the qualitative - descriptive research was used. The research methodology was the qualitative one based on the case study, in which the subjects of the theme were approached through interviews and document analysis. The analysis of the collected data obtained an answer to the question posed by the study, which sought to know how the press releases of that Ministry were reported by Angolan journalists, highlighting the need for training to have a greater and better interaction. between aides and journalists, using press releases, in conciliation with the elements taken from the literature review. The results achieved in the interview differ, with the results of the documents analyzed, but support the assumptions made about the acceptance of press releases by journalists and their influence on the exercise of press office at the Angolan Ministry of Social Communication. It was concluded that press releases from the Angolan Ministry of Social Communication have a positive acceptance by journalists of public media, thus contributing to the identification of the writing used to prepare the documents of the Ministry of Social Communication of Angola.
