Resumo(s)
O que se pretende investigar é a relação que parece estabelecer-se entre aparatos
que conferem uma face/voz e a atribuição de uma identidade, isto é, ser-se uma pessoa.
Considerando que todos os textos são autobiográficos e que o tropo da autobiografia é a
figura da prosopopeia, figura que confere uma máscara ou uma face/voz a uma entidade
ausente/sem voz, este torna-se também um problema ético, político e legal. Coloca-se em
causa a tese de que “ser capaz de falar” ou “ser capaz de ter intenções” são coisas que só os
seres humanos fazem e experimentar-se-á a ideia de pessoa definida como um certo tipo de
mudez, incapaz de ter intenções, adquirindo algo por “representação”, correspondendo à
esfera dos corpos simbólicos como crianças, empresas, estátuas, países, rios... Espera-se que
o problema da identidade já não se oriente pela busca de certezas fechadas e totais mas que
se abra à imprevisibilidade do encontro.
What we want to investigate is the relationship that seems to be established between apparatus conferring a face/voice and the attribution of an identity, i.e., being a person. Considering that all the texts are autobiographical and that the trope of autobiography is the figure of prosopopeia, a figure that confers a mask or face/voice to an absent/voiceless entity, this also becomes an ethical, political and legal problem. The thesis that "to be able to speak" or "to be able to have intentions" is something that only human beings do, is put to question , as is the idea of a person defined as a certain type of muteness, incapable of having intentions, acquiring something by "representation", corresponding to the sphere of the symbolic bodies as children, companies, statues, countries, rivers… It is expected that the identity problem is no longer guided by the search for closed and total certainties but open to the unpredictability of meeting.
