A análise e a estatística espacial são meios para se obter respostas a perguntas afim de tomarmos decisões inteligentes. Em alguns casos o próprio mapa é a análise. Noutros casos, usam-se ferramentas e métodos em SIG para se criar novos dados que são exibidos em mapas para que possamos analisa-los e tirar conclusões. Assim, para este projeto onde deseja-se gerar uma base para a criação de uma plataforma geoeconómica a partir da cartografia das atividades comerciais do Município, pretende-se ter o conhecimento espacial da atividade económica no concelho, possibilitando a adoção de estratégias de desenvolvimento municipal, mas também fornecer os operadores económicos de conhecimento apropriado a uma tomada de posição quanto ao investimento. Sendo assim, após serem realizadas análises espaciais e estatística espacial constata-se que a densidade é divergente uma vez que há casos em que a densidade se apresenta em ‘’polos’’ específicos e outros casos em que ela é mais dispersa. Exemplo de um caso em que a densidade se apresenta em polo é o caso dos Estabelecimentos Comerciais. Para o segundo caso temos o exemplo dos restaurantes em que a densidade é mais dispersa. Para as características espaciais de distribuição dos pontos, observa-se que os centros médios estão concentrados, maioritariamente, ao sul do município. As amplitudes das elipses são largas, menos no caso dos Estabelecimentos Comerciais. Estes têm uma orientação muito bem definida na área do corredor urbano expandindo-se ao longo da U.F. de Sintra e das freguesias rurais. Com o Hot Spot, no caso dos Estabelecimentos Comerciais, percebe-se que os aglomerados de pontos quentes e pontos frios estão bem agrupados em lugares específicos. Contrariamente, a análise Hot Spot dos restaurantes mostra que esta é mais dispersa ao longo do município.
Analysis and spatial statistics are the ways to get answers to questions in order to make an intelligent decisions.In some cases, the map itself is the analysis. And in others, GIS tools and methods are used to create new datas which is displayed on maps so that we can analyze and draw conclusions.Therefore, for this project where it is desired to generate a base for the creation of a geo-economic platform based on cartography of the commercial activities of the Municipality, it is intended to have the spatial knowledge about the economic activity in the county, enabling the adoption of those strategies for the municipal development, but also to provide economic operators with appropriate knowledge to a positioning when it comes to an investment. Thus, after performing both spatial analyzes and spatial statistical, it is observed that the density is divergent since there are cases in which the density appears in "poles" and other cases in which it is more dispersed. An example of the first case where the density appears in polo is the case of Commercial Establishments. For the second case we have the example of restaurants in which the density is more dispersed. For the spatial distribution characteristics of the points, it is observed that the mean centers are concentrated, mainly, to the south of the municipality. The amplitudes of the ellipses are wide, less in the case of Commercial Establishments.These have a very well defined orientation in the area of the urban corridor expanding along the U.F of Sintra and the rural area.With the Hot Spot, in the case of Commercial Establishments, it is noticed that the clusters of hot spots and cold spots are well grouped in specific places.Conversely, the Hot Spot analysis of the restaurants shows that it is more dispersed throughout the municipality.
