editorial no Pato Lógico Edições, UNIPESSOAL, Lda.
texto e imagem exemplificam algumas questões relevantes do mundo editorial
contemporâneo.
This report is part of the more practical component of the Master’s Degree in “Edição de Texto” of FCSH/NOVA. It aims to portray what I’ve learned in the context of my experience as an editorial assistant at Pato Lógico Edições, UNIPESSOAL, Lda. This curricular internship lasted a total of 400 hundred hours, distributed in a part-time schedule between october 2017 and april 2018. During this period, I was able to follow different editorial procedures ranging from a national to an international scope, while getting familiar with the studio projects and with the educational service – two major complementary aspects of the editorial activity. With this in mind, on the following pages, I intend to describe and substantiate the tasks I’ve accomplished and the learning process through my six months of internship. Taking in consideration my place in a publisher with a creative component that’s closely related to illustration and out-of-the-box storytelling, I will also make a brief reflexion on how intersemiotic relationships can be an example of relevant questions of the contemporary publishing scene.
