Como se mobiliza a SIC Durante as Eleições Autárquicas de Lisboa?

Abstract

Este trabalho é um relatório de um estágio de seis meses na SIC e que está dividido em duas partes. Na primeira parte encontra-se a história da estação v de televisão SIC e uma análise critica do estágio. A segunda parte é um estudo feito sobre a cobertura das autárquicas de Lisboa de 2017 por parte da SIC. O estudo foi dividido em quatro partes. A parte da metodologia de trabalho que consiste em várias teorias do jornalismo, da televisão e da política, trazendo também para o debate a lei da cobertura jornalística de eleições. Esta etapa do trabalho vai ajudar a fazer um melhor estudo dos três acontecimentos escolhidos para análise. Esses três acontecimentos são: o debate televisivo na SIC com os cinco candidatos principais à presidência da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa; as peças transmitidas pela SIC nos telejornais, com um foco especial no Primeiro Jornal e no Jornal da Noite; e a cobertura da noite de eleições. É um trabalho baseado em teorias e numa observação participante durante as duas semanas de campanha eleitoral em Lisboa. Ou seja, foi observado o trabalho feito pela equipa da SIC durante essas semanas.

This paper is a report of an internship of six months at the Portuguese TV station SIC. The report is divided into two parts. The first one is the history of the TV station where the internship took place and a critical analysis of the vi time, the experience and the work done at SIC. The second part consists on a study of the work done by the TV station during the local elections of 2017 in Lisbon. The study was divided into four sections. The first one is the work methodology, which are the theories of journalism, television and politics during the study. In this section you can also find the law of journalistic coverage during elections. This will help the study of the three events that have been chosen to be analysed. The three events are: the television debate at SIC with the main five candidates to the city council, the TV packages done by SIC during the news; focusing more on the Primeiro Jornal and the Jornal da Noite; and the coverage of the election night. It is a paper based on theories and a participant observation during the two weeks of election campaign in Lisbon. This means that the work done by the SIC journalistic team observed and analysed.
