This internship report is part of the final assessment for the Master Degree Programme on Scenic Arts of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (FCSH) at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The referred internship was held in Beja, at the International Festival of Theater of Alentejo (FITA), organized by the professional theatre company Lendias d'Encantar. In addition to the description of the activities carried out during this internship, the report presents a reflection on the importance, for artistic creation, of decentralization, mobility, meeting and sharing. Based on the experience held in a working context, this reflection seeks to understand if the organization of International Theatre Festivals, outside the big urban centres, may or may not contribute to the decentralization of the cultural offer and, at the same time, allow the creation of laboratories for artistic thought. Through the consideration of questions related to the concept of Festival, the role of the programmer, the circulation and the creative process, the report ends up recording an international scenic event (FITA 2017) and proposing different reflections on the new creative territories that emerge from the artistic circulation.
