Neste trabalho são explorados os comportamentos sexuais e as noções estéticas que
fogem às espectativas sociais e situam-se à margem das representações das médias
tradicionais. Também procura-se perceber a produção cultural que surge pela
necessidade de diversificar o meio coletivo, promovendo o debate social e
reestruturando valores preestabelecidos. São muitos os investimentos contemporâneos
na autorrepresentação fotográfica. Aqui, aborda-se o projeto Chicos que retrata jovens
homossexuais e transsexuais masculinos através da representação dos seus corpos nus,
dividindo a intimidade de suas experiências afetivas, positivas ou negativas, com o meio
social ou mesmo em relação aos seus próprios corpos. Através de uma análise das
estruturas sociais e das estruturas psíquicas, verifica-se o recurso da imagem fotográfica
como propulsora da representação do self e da sua afirmação identitária, assim como o
espaço virtual na produção e difusão de conteúdo cultural participativo.
In this work are explored the sexual behaviors and the aesthetic notions that escape to the social expectations and which are at the margin of the traditional medias approach. Also, it tries to understand the cultural production that arises from the need to diversify the community, promoting social debate and restructuring the pre-established values. There are many contemporary investments in photographic self-representation. Here, the project under analysis is Chicos, that describes homosexual and transsexual men, where we will see how they deal with the representation of their naked bodies, sharing the intimacy of their affective experiences, positive or negative, with the social circle or even with their own bodies. The resource of the photographic image will be approached in this scenario as a propeller of the “self” representation and of his identity affirmation, as well as the virtual space in the production and diffusion of the participatory cultural content.
