O papel que a música assume no ensino atualmente resultou de um conjunto de mudanças e transformações de caráter pedagógico, social, implementadas ao longo dos anos.
Em paralelo com as inovações alcançadas na área de educação musical, pesquisas efetuadas sobre as metodologias e materiais existentes constituem elementos fundamentais à análise da temática proposta neste relatório.
Pretende-se assim, elaborar um estudo direcionado para os recursos disponibilizados aos docentes nas instituições, obtidos mediante investigações na transmissão dos conteúdos da disciplina de educação musical/ oficina de música no sentido de verificar a importância dos manuais escolares na abordagem progressiva e contínua do programa estruturado para os alunos do segundo ciclo.
Este estudo inclui uma componente de enquadramento e contextualização do estado do ensino de educação musical, tendo como suporte a Lei de Bases do Sistema Educativo, aspetos mais relevantes da sua evolução no meio institucional. Partindo do geral para o particular, estabelece-se uma relação com o estabelecimento de ensino que foi indicado como local de investigação, com destaque para as características específicas que o definem. Noutro momento, é aprofundada a temática mencionada através da observação e planificação de sessões práticas tendo em conta os conteúdos programáticos adequados aos respetivos anos de escolaridade ministrados pelo professor cooperante. O passo seguinte contou com a intervenção dos professores de educação musical, na conceção de uma entrevista destinada à recolha e organização de informações sobre o repertório de canções salientando o seu valor pedagógico.
The role that music embraces today in education has resulted from a set of changes and transformations of pedagogical and social nature that were implemented over the years. In parallel with the innovations achieved in the area of musical education, research on the methodologies and existing materials are fundamental elements to the analysis of the theme proposed in this report. The aim of this work is to study the resources available to teachers in educational institutions, obtained through investigations in the transmission of musical contents in the discipline of music education, in order to verify the importance of school textbooks in the progressive and continuous approach of the structured program for the students of basic education This study includes a framing and context component of the state of teaching in music education based on the Education System Basis Law and the most relevant aspects of its evolution in the institutional environment. From the general to the particular view, a connection is established with the educational institution that was designated as a place for the investigation, with emphasis on the specific characteristics that define it. On the other hand, the subject mentioned above is strengthened through the observation and planning of practical sessions considering the programmatic matter proper to the appointed years of schooling tutored by the cooperating teacher. The next step was the intervention of music education teachers, in the design of an interview aimed for gathering and organization of information about the repertoire of songs emphasizing their pedagogical value.
