O presente relatório expressa os resultados do estágio curricular realizado entre
Novembro de 2016 e Abril de 2017 na Embaixada de Portugal em Praga com propósito
de conclusão do Mestrado em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais.
Os principais objectivos do estágio foram a aplicação dos conhecimentos teóricos
lecionados durante a componente lectiva do referido Mestrado e o desempenho de
funções de caracter profissional relevante. O estágio permitiu igualmente uma
compreensão aprofundada do trabalho realizado numa Embaixada portuguesa na União
Europeia, assim como o funcionamento da rede diplomática portuguesa.
Este relatório de estágio descreve todas as tarefas desenvolvidas ao longo do
mesmo, analisando igualmente eventuais problemas metodológicos e opções tomadas.
Durante o estágio foi concedida especial atenção para o relatório acerca da cibersegurança
e campanhas de desinformação, o acompanhamento dos órgãos de comunicação social e
a análise política da República Checa. As tarefas desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio foram
desafiantes, trabalhosas do ponto de vista científico e exigentes do ponto de vista prático.
This report intends to show the results of a curricular internship that took place from November 2016 to April 2017 at the Portuguese Embassy in Prague intending to conclude the Master in Political Sciences and International Relations. The main aim of the internship was to apply previously acquired theoretical knowledge into functional work within the field. The internship also allowed an in-depth understanding of the work done at a Portuguese Embassy in the European Union, as well as the functioning of the Portuguese diplomatic network. This traineeship report describes all the tasks developed throughout. It was also analysed the possible methodological problems and options taken. During the internship, special attention was paid to the report on cyber-security and disinformation campaigns, monitoring of the czech media and political analysis of the Czech Republic. All the developed tasks were challenging and both practical and scientifically demanding.
