Social Entrepreneurship has been a topic of interest in the literature. In this study, the
difference between Generation Y, Generation X, and Baby Boomers is being discussed; and
what we can learn from different impact models; it offers a comparison based on the Business
Model Canvas (BMC) for social enterprises and shows different ways of managing a social
venture, as well as, observable pattern across generations. For further research, it concludes
by outlining the key differences and best practices between social entrepreneurs of different
generations. especially how we can learn from different models.
