internacionalmente.
This report aims to explore the position of a possible national cinema in the contemporary European panorama and the influence of multiculturalism in this process through the study of Dutch cinema. This research is based on the theoretical content identified in the bibliography, and in the accomplishment of a three-month internship in Rotterdam, at Cinema Bioscoop. The different activities developed during the internship, in which new skills were consolidated and in which the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in the first year of the Master's degree was applied, led to the understanding that the possible national cinemas in Europe are in a compromise between an attempt to distance themselves from the classic cinema of Hollywood, through the representation in the films of a stereotyped cultural identity and the influences of the neighbor countries, but also in an approximation, in order to subsist by being distributed nationally and internationally.
