A presente dissertação constitui um trabalho de investigação que se insere no âmbito do projecto TERMAP - “Terminologia da Administração Pública”, desenvolvido pelo Governo da República de Angola, e coordenado pelo Ministério da Educação de Angola.
O nosso principal objectivo consiste no estudo da terminologia do Subsistema de Formação de Professores, tendo em conta a documentação produzida pelo Ministério da Educação de Angola e suas instituições tuteladas, referentes ao subdomínio da Formação de Professores.
Deste modo, a abordagem proposta no presente trabalho, é desenvolvida em cinco (5) capítulos: a) no primeiro capítulo é feita uma breve introdução ao Ministério da Educação de Angola e seus órgãos de superintendência e tutela, bem como à caracterização do actual Sistema de Educação e Ensino em Angola; b) no segundo capítulo são apresentadas questões referentes à selecção e organização do corpus textual; c) no terceiro capítulo faz-se referência ao tratamento semiautomático do corpus de análise e à apresentação dos candidatos a termo; d) no quarto capítulo são apresentados os pressupostos teóricos de variação terminológica e identificados alguns dos fenómenos de variação que ocorrem no corpus de análise; e) no quinto e último capítulo debruçamo-nos sobre a harmonização terminológica, e procedemos à proposta de um glossário terminológico para o Ministério da Educação, mais especificamente para a Formação de Professores, no intuito de contribuir para a organização da terminologia a nível do sector da Educação e Formação de Professores em Angola.
The present dissertation is a research work that falls within the scope of the TERMAP project (Terminology for the Public Administration), developed by the Government of the Republic of Angola, and coordinated by the Ministry of Education of Angola. Our main goal was to study the terminology used in the Subsystem of Teacher Training, taking into account the documentation related to the subdomain of Teacher Training produced by the Ministry of Education of Angola and its institutions. Therefore, the present work is divided into five (5) chapters: a) in the first chapter we briefly introduce the Ministry of Education of Angola and its supervisory bodies, as well as the current Educational System of Angola; b) in the second chapter, we raise fundamental issues relating to the selection and organization of the text corpus; c) Chapter three, refers to the semiautomatic treatment process of the corpus and the presentation of term candidates; d) in chapter four, we introduce the theoretical assumptions of terminology variation and we also identify some variation events that occur in our analysis corpus; e) in the fifth and final chapter, we discuss harmonization in terminology, and suggest a glossary of terminology for the Ministry of Education, more specifically for Teacher Training, in order to help organize the terminology used in the Education field and Teacher Training in Angola.
