This research objective, fundamentally, to present a theoretical framework on the situation of anthroponymy in Bengo, highlighting the dynamics of composition of most frequent names. The composition can be understood in two ways, namely word formation or registration in the conservatory. In this order, it is considered that there are at least two stages preceding registration at the conservatory, which are choice and training; The choice is made between names existing in the common anthroponymic lexicon, and may be of religious, historical, political, ethnic, mythological, or superstition-based beliefs, popular beliefs, etc., formation implies the creation of a new lexical unit, neologisms. To carry out the study, we used two forms of research, local and remote, to different types of sources, oral, documentary and bibliographical. As for the methods, we tried to combine the qualitative with the quantitative, in the same way, we tried to combine two perspectives of corpus treatment, onomasiology and semasiology. Considering the lack of names in national languages and the risk of disappearing completely, we would like to propose the creation of an anthropometric database for the Caxito Civil Registry.
