Resumo(s)
The seismograph shows: FinTechs are disrupting the financial industry. Millennium BCP has
become aware that its competitors are interacting with FinTechs and sees its leading role in
the Portuguese market at stake. The project deals with the development of “a model to
support FinTech StartUps to bring value to millennium’s customers”.
A hypothesis-driven approach is used to find the most suitable FinTech method. However,
internal challenges have been recognised, which hinder such an approach. Therefore, a twostage
model has been developed to tackle these obstacles. As a result, a solid digital strategy
will be designed to accommodate the FinTech strategy.
