Goal of this Business Project was to identify the services that the retail bank
of the future will have to offer. An explorative research was conducted to
predict and analyze future needs individuals will have. Based on those needs,
potential future services were identified and ranked in a portfolio analysis
according to their attractiveness, feasibility and unitary profitability. The
highest ranking groups of services were then combined in three business
model clusters: Bank at the Branch, which suggests novel ways to use existing
branches of the bank, Bank with You, an innovative application of technology
to exploit payments, and the Bank of Things that brings together the
opportunities of Internet of Things with banking
