Este relatório surge no âmbito da minha Prática de Ensino Supervisionada e representa
uma descrição e uma reflexão sobre a minha iniciação como professora de Inglês e de
Francês no 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário. O projeto de investigaçãoação
foi desenvolvido em sequência de uma reflexão sobre a importância da literatura na
sala de aula de Língua Estrangeira como facilitadora do pensamento crítico, procurando
articular a teoria com a prática letiva na Escola Secundária Romeu Correia onde
desenvolvi o meu estágio. Ao descrever e refletir sobre a experiência que tive, analiso
também as ações implementadas, com o recurso ao texto literário, na sala de aula de LE,
para o desenvolvimento das competências linguísticas e do pensamento crítico.
This report accounts for my Supervised Field Training representing a description and a reflection upon my initiation into teaching practice as a secondary school English and French teacher. The action-investigation research was developed following a reflection over the value of literature in the Foreign Language classroom as a facilitator of critical thinking, trying to articulate theory with the teaching practice I developed at Romeu Correia Secondary School. As I describe and reflect about my experience, I look at the ways literary texts in the Foreign Language classroom can enhance foreign language teaching, the development of linguistic skills, while also maximizing critical thinking.
