O presente relatório de estágio tem por base o estágio curricular com duração de
seis meses (de julho de 2015 a dezembro de 2015) realizado na secção de lifestyle do jornal
online Observador. Com a rápida evolução da Internet, surgiu o jornalismo online repleto de
novas caraterísNcas, formatos e públicos cada vez mais exigentes. No entanto, também veio
acompanhado de novas ferramentas que permitem aos jornalistas conhecer uma audiência e
ser mais eficiente a responder às suas necessidades. Uma vez que o jornalismo de lifestyle
tem um papel inegável na criação, circulação e promoção de noções sobre bens e serviços de
esNlo de vida, torna-se ainda mais fundamental traçar um perfil desta audiência. Este
relatório, além de perceber que temas e que caraterísNcas editoriais reúnem as peças
preferidas dos leitores, em específico, da secção de lifestyle jornal Observador, descreve
também a experiência pessoal do estágio realizado. Através da análise de dados com base
numa metodologia com recurso a observação parNcipante, invesNgação documental, análise
de conteúdo e entrevistas, concluiu-se que os temas de lifestyle preferidos pelos leitores do
Observador são os formatos mulNmédia que vivem à base de imagens e Nram
aproveitamento máximo das caraterísNcas do meio online.
This internship report is based in the curricular internship held in the lifestyle secNon of the online newspaper Observador for six months (from Jfavouriteuly 2015 to December 2015). With the fast evoluNon of Internet, online journalism was born full of new features, formats and audiences. However, it also came with new tools that allow journalists to know an audience and be more efficient at respond to their needs. Because lifestyle journalism has an undeniable role in the creaNon, circulaNon and promoNon of lifestyle goods and services, it is essenNal to draw a profile of his audience. This report, besides realising what subjects and what editorial features the favourite pieces of the readers have, in parNcular, in the lifestyle secNon of online newspaper Observador, also describes the personal experience of the internship. Through a data analysis methodology based on parNcipant observaNon, documentary research, content analysis and interviews, we concluded that the readers favourite pieces have photos and media formats that take full advantage of online journalism.
