This work project applies scenario planning to explore the future of Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the European electric vehicle (EV) industry, focusing on Ford-Werke Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (GmbH). Using the Intuitive Logics method, four scenarios for the year 2035 were developed based on two key uncertainties: Geoeconomic Fragmentation and Competitiveness & Software Excellence. Insights were derived from expert interviews, workshops, and survey data. The project translates these scenarios into strategic recommendations for Ford-Werke to support long-term adaptability in an evolving automotive landscape.
