O presente relatório é o resultado da concretização de um estágio curricular na
redação da revista de lifestyle NiT, decorrido entre 2 de setembro de 2024 e 11 de
novembro de 2024, completando quatrocentas horas, no âmbito da realização da
componente não letiva do Mestrado em Edição de Texto. Este relatório visa descrever as
funções de um revisor numa revista, analisando as atividades realizadas pela estagiária,
assim como o seu desempenho e experiência. São expostas as aprendizagens e
fragilidades de todo o processo, relacionando as componentes letiva e não letiva do
mestrado e realizando reflexões e balanços da relevância de cada elemento na formação
do revisor ou editor.
The following report is the result of the completion of an internship which took place at the editorial office of the lifestyle magazine NiT, between September 2 nd 2024 and November 11th 2024, having a total of four hundred hours, and carried out with the purpose of fulfilling the non-teaching component of the master’s degree in Text Editing. This report aims to describe the duties of a magazine’s proofreader by analysing the activities performed by the intern, as well as her performance and experience. The acquired knowledge and shortcomings of the whole process are presented and compared with the teaching and non-teaching aspects of the master’s degree, while observations and assessments of each element are presented to assess its relevance in the proofreader’s or editor’s training.
