In this paper we make use of data of the DNB Household Survey administered by Centerdata
(Tilburg University, The Netherlands). This study examines gender differences in investment
decisions, focusing on sustainable investments and green savings. Using t-tests, we identified
significant gender disparities in financial behaviours and portfolio composition. Regression
models show that women allocate a higher proportion of their portfolios to sustainable
investments, while no significant gender differences emerge for green savings. These findings
offer valuable insights into gendered financial behaviour and highlight the need for tailored
strategies to promote sustainable investing across diverse demographic groups.
