Resumo(s)
This work project investigates how an Environmental, Social, and Governance
(ESG) framework can be integrated into the due diligence process for technology mergers and
acquisitions (M&A) to achieve a clearer and more objective view of target companies. The
focus is on using tools like Impact-Weighted Accounts (IWAs) and Sustainable Weighted
Average Cost of Capital (SWACC) to embed ESG factors directly into valuation processes,
enabling a more precise understanding of a company’s overall impact and financial potential.
