Resumo(s)
This thesis examines revenue optimization strategies for lower-league clubs with Anadia
Futebol Clube, a Liga 3 team from Portugal, as the object of the case study. Faced with
challenges such as low matchday attendance, limited fan engagement, and financial dependency
on local sponsorships, the study is focused on identifying actionable solutions to enhance
financial sustainability and regional impact. Drawing on sports management literature, a
systematic review of relevant studies, and benchmarking successful practices from comparable
clubs, this research relies on the importance of improving fan engagement and fostering
community relationships to create long-term growth opportunities. This research contributes to
a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by lower-league clubs in Portugal,
offering a replicable framework for implementing effective revenue optimization strategies.
